On this foggy Monday, we were able to spot one humpback whale at the Point Arena Lighthouse peninsula.  While there we observed: * 7 harbor seals swimming by their haul out site * 2 red-tailed hawks  * 1 American kestrel

Today there was a haziness over the ocean that reduce visibility. After two days of foggy conditions, we did have some visibility but it was windy, hazy, and many whitecaps covered the ocean. We found no whales at the Lighthouse or at Saunders Reef.  At PAL: * 78 harbor seals * 1 red-tailed hawk * 2 American kestrels

WE HAD SIGNIFICANT FOG THROUGHOUT THE DAY, RECEDING AT TIMES BUT ALWAYS IMPAIRING VISIBILITY.  NO WHALES SEEN AT THE LIGHTHOUSE OR AT SAUNDERS REEF. AT PAL: * 66 harbor seals * 2 black oyster catchers * 1 red-tailed hawk * 2 American kestrels
