    Observations from  the Point Arena Lighthouse peninsula and from Saunders Reef

    Windy and many whitecaps at both sites

    No whales seen at either site

    At PAL:

    64 harbor seals

    1 red tailed hawk

     1 charismatic raccoon

    two parent ravens feeding two of their offspring on the cliff opposite of where they nested

    No whales seen at either site

    Good visibility at PAL but very windy and many whitecaps at Saunders

    At PAL:

    37 harbor seals

    2 black oyster catchers

    1 charismatic raccoon

    At Saunders Reef:

    1 osprey
