Observations from the Point Arena Lighthouse peninsula:

* 3 humpback whales, traveling slowing to the south and taking long dives

* 88 harbor seals

* 1 Great blue heron

* 1 red-tailed hawk

* 4 American kestrels

* 1 black oystercatcher

NO whales seen at Saunders Reef
