Observations today were at Gerstle Cove in Salt Point State Park. Conditions were ideal for spotting whales with a calm ocean, no wind, and visibility clear to the horizon.

💠 No harbor seals seen due to high tide
💠 8 sea lions swimming south
💠 1 great egret
💠 1 Northern harrier
💠 1 osprey carrying a fish
💠 3 flocks of meadowlarks with approximately 15-20 in each flock
💠 163 brown pelicans flying north and several diving for fish
