Observations today were at Gerstle Cove in Salt Point State Park. Conditions were ideal for spotting whales with a calm ocean, no wind, and visibility clear to the horizon.

๐Ÿ’  No harbor seals seen due to high tide

๐Ÿ’  8 sea lions swimming south

๐Ÿ’  1 great egret

๐Ÿ’  1 Northern harrier

๐Ÿ’  1 osprey carrying a fish

๐Ÿ’  3 flocks of meadowlarks with approximately 15-20 in each flock

๐Ÿ’  163 brown pelicans flying north and several diving for fish
