At the Point Arena Lighthouse peninsula, we had cloudy skies, light wind, and good visibility. We observed:
🔶 2 northbound gray whales – both singles
🔶 1 osprey successfully caught a fish
🔶 16 brown pelicans flying north and 1 flying south
🔶 2 black oystercatchers
AT GUALALA POINT, SHARI GOFORTH OBSERVED:
🔶 4 northbound gray whales – all singles
🔵💠🔵💠🔵💠🔵💠🔵💠🔵💠🔵💠🔵
TOTAL GRAY WHALES SEEN TO DATE:
🔆 335 northbound – includes 1 mother/calf seen on March 14th
🔆 391 southbound
