Today there was a haziness over the ocean that reduce visibility. However, the sharp eyes of Shari Goforth-Eby spotted three blows of a humpback whale only about 1 1/2 miles off shore at the Lighthouse. She alerted us of this sighting and directed us perfectly where to look and we also saw one blow from this same whale. No other whales were seen in the area nor at Saunders Reef as the haziness persisted throughout the day limiting visibility.
