Observations from the Point Arena Lighthouse Peninsula and from Saunders Reef

At PAL:

*  5 humpbacks; breaching, flipper slapping, tail lobbing observed

* 87 harbor seals

* 4 black oyster catchers

* 1 Northern Harrier

At Saunders Reef:

No whales seen
